About Me

Welcome! This is my little space on the net. I am or have been a learning manager, instructional designer, web designer/developer, LMS administrator, SharePoint Administrator, graphic artist, photographer, video maker, blogger, and actress. I know that is a lot, but I love many things.

I live in Central Florida: I am married, have four daughters from other mothers and one English Bulldog (Marz, my other two recently crossed the rainbow bridge).

My core beliefs… 

  • Treat others as you want them to treat you. Practice empathy, compassion, listen to others, be friendly, helpful, and open. 
  • Work hard and love what you’re working hard doing.
  • Creativity will grow if you feed it.
  • Nothing is impossible.
  • Love. Laugh. Live.

Portfolio

Social Media
I love social media. I’ve been a huge fan since the early 90s when IMing was the big thing on AOL. I do not believe in using Social Media to replace what matters in life, only to enhance social interactions. I have a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn site. If you want my links, you will need to contact me. I use my social media responsibly. 

​Freelance / Current Employment
​I’ve been doing freelance work since 2000 in one form or another. I am looking for full-time employment because I do not want to run my own business all the time. I want to find the right position where I may use my talents and make an impact. 

JILL-OF-ALL TRADES (A LITTLE MORE)

I am somewhat of a Jill of All Trades in Learning and Development. This is because you need to keep up with technology and industry changes. If not, you’re left behind. I love what I do; they are also my hobbies; I like learning as much as possible. If I do not know it, I will learn it. I love to learn! 

Sr. Instructional Designer
I love creating learning in all forms, but especially online learning. I love software and computers. Give me a good program, and I’ll want to learn it if it can help me create learning modules! 

LMS Admin
In the past few years, I’ve been doing more LMS administration, testing, and QA control as my role of Sr. ID evolves.  

Business Analysts
I’ve worked on system processes, requirements documentation, process analysis, business intelligence, and data. I’ve also done extensive QA testing and document systems, experience administering and completing software and system-related initiatives/projects, defining best practices and ensuring solutions meet business needs.

Web Designer/Developer
I’ve been a web designer/developer for many years and have taken on many forms of webmaster, instructor and page creator. What I like about web design is you can create something out of nothing and share information with others.  

Graphic Artist
I am a graphic artist, even though I can’t draw a stick man straight. I’ve done several pieces of art in various mediums to help with the massive creative outlet I need.  

Photographer/Video
I’ve been taking pictures for more than twenty years. I still consider myself a rookie with a great eye. I mainly shoot in natural light because I think it’s the most beautiful.
